... concerns pitch matchings of tone pulses which are presented alternately to a subject's two ears, carried out to study the phenomenon of binaural diplacusis. Usually the intensities of the signals in the two ears were kept equal. In a few measuring series the intensities were deliberately chosen unequal, thus giving information of the influence of intensity differences on binaural diplacusis and, therefore, on pitch.
